Camp Wee Luv'em is celebrating it’s 30th Anniversary this summer!
We are located on the grounds of the Northport V.A. Medical Center. This beautiful, natural setting offers ball fields, picnic areas, woodland, and indoor spaces for our campers to enjoy. The Camp is part of the Medical Center community and has access to a police department, a fire department, a store, a day care center, a nursing home, medical services and much more.
"Monsky Field" is our regular pick-up/drop off area. However, in inclement weather other areas are used.
We are licensed by the Suffolk County Department of Health.
We have earned a reputation of excellence because we care. Our low child to counselor ratios enables us to know each child as an individual. We provide exciting activities and experiences that encourage children to try new things, make new friends and develop a positive self image.
Enthusiasm is contagious.
It starts with our dedicated and passionate administrators who plan a summer of fun filled, exciting activites, and share their knowledge and experience with our well trained staff. Many of our counselors are Camp Wee Luv'em graduates who remember their summers at camp and want to share the Camp Wee Luv'em spirit.
Security
The VA medical Center has a security check point. Parents are issued a camp badge so they can enter the facility.
