CITs

Our CIT’s must be entering the 10th grade.

Counselors in Training are specially selected for this important position. They are positive role models who are motivated to learn and be a part of a team.  CITs work closely alongside counselors to provide guidance, motivation, and supervision for younger campers and to support the counselors during the day. Throughout the summer CITs will develop their interpersonal and leadership skills by demonstrating and leading activities as well as assisting children with problem solving and compromise.

The skills developed through this opportunity will provide CITs with experiences and practice for thoughtful and reflective time management, organization, follow through and achievement; all critical skills in becoming a successful goal oriented CIT, student, and a future leader.

Our CIT’s must attend for a minimum of 3 days per week for 3 weeks.
